Lunarscape
I finally got round to making something useful with my 3D Java engine (MAML). The result is Lunarscape which is going to be a 3D MMORPG (Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Game). It's about 60% complete at the moment, and so far looks pretty promising. The game will eventually include 2 sides (as yet unnamed) locked in a battle for dominance of a small moon rich in precious metals. Each side will have an army controlled by a central AI brain which will coordinate troop movement. Human players will have the choice to join either side. They can then also choose to join the ever present battle and eliminate key enemy targets for cash rewards, become a pirate outcast or to live the simple life of a trader. Basically you make the rules, do whatever you want. Then main focus of the game will be on enjoyment! I plan to, eventually, create a scripting language for quests & events in which people can submit their own ideas to a popular vote which will decide upon the next addition to game content. So, anyway, wish me luck. I hope to have a testable version up and running soon.
